We glad we found S.E.A. on our way back from Fresno to Rancho Cordova. The food was excellent the first time and our family is hooked. We've tried almost every dish on the menu and each one is tasty. We can literally eat their food all day. It's just that good.

Great service and great food :) Had their beef skewers and cooked beef laab. I'm not a huge fan of cream cheese wontons but their wontons were very unique and tasty.

I did curbside pick up. My first time visit today. I was at my kids football game and in the heat wanted something yummy and I didn't want fast food so I remembered how I've been wanting to try this spot out. They did not disappoint! I got the crab cream cheese wontons. And a pork sandwich both were soooo good I definitely recommend

I have tried: Papaya Salad, Nam Khao Fried Rice, Chicken Skewers, beef/Rice Dish, Sandwich, and Sakes. All are good and tasty. One tip though, if you are not a spicy food eater, make sure you ask for mild heat/hot peppers otherwise you will be drinking lots of aqua! My wife loves this spot. Always here for the crunchy fried rice. She ordered lamb this time and while it's good, my wife couldn't handle the mild spice because of her pregnancy.

This place is soooo good. If you haven't been here you need to! My partner got the bangkok basil lunch special with chicken and I got the lao lovers entree also with chicken. We both got our food mild and it had the perfect spice level for us, it might be spicy to people with lower tolerance though. Definitely do not get medium or hotter unless you love your food very spicy. The service was friendly and attentive. There are a few tables inside and no outdoor seating.

Had a chance to finally try the SEA Hut that I've heard so much about. My first item to get at any SE Asian restaurant is the kapoon. It's my reference item that I use to compare and contrast. The restaurant is cozy and probably seats about 20-30 people. It's tucked away in the older part of Elk Grove and has that quaint 80s feel. The staff was nice and told us to sit anywhere. My kapoon was very nice and came with the usual condiments, including cabbage, bean sprouts, and mint leaves. The soup was hot enough for my liking, and had that nice creamy coconut milk goodness. It wasn't spicy at all to me, which was a little disappointing compared to other fiery ones I've had. The noodles were nice and soft but not too much so. Overall I enjoyed it but it's not as good as some I've had in south sac. My companion tried the stuffed chicken wings and I tried it as well, and it was very flavorful with a nice crispy skin. The stuffing was more tastly than other's I've had in the past. Overall a good experience at SEA Hut and I'd like to come back and try more items.

The first thing that must be said is that the food here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Their nam kao is the best I have ever had and will be the reason I want to try everything on their menu. The service here is perfect. I was greeted with a pleasant smile and a friendly voice as I walked in and it made me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar place. I was helped with any questions/problems I had. The waitress Nita was so friendly and attentive. Even when they were busy, the staff made sure to check on everyone. S.E.A.Hut has the best south East Asian food in town and it would be such a missed opportunity to not eat here.

Recently visited because we were looking for something different. We used to go to their sister restaurant before it closed. We went closer to dinner time and was immediately serviced right away. We ordered a few of their items to go. Everything we ordered, especially their Kapoon was delicious. We definitely will be back!

I recently revisited a Southeast Asian restaurant that I reviewed over 6 years ago, and I strongly believe that they deserve a second review from me. Since my initial visit, I have continued to order their party trays for all my events. Even when I have a craving for it, I would drive 30 minutes to get the individual order for myself. Their quality and service have remained consistently exceptional. One dish that continues to impress me is their nam khao, which are deep-fried rice balls similar to spherical croquettes, filled with chunks of Lao-style Vietnamese fermented pork sausage. These rice balls have a perfect crispy exterior and burst with flavor with each bite. I have tried nam khao at various other places, but this restaurant's version is unbeatable. They truly make the best nam khao I have ever had. In addition, I had the opportunity to have this restaurant cater my daughter's graduation party over the weekend, and it was a huge success. I decided to include the nam khao and their beef/chicken skewers and wings in the menu, and it was a hit with all the guests. Some of them are from out of town with one being from Arizona, had never tried nam khao or the skewers before, but after tasting them at the party, they fell in love with the flavors. It's amazing how these dishes can captivate the taste buds and leave a lasting impression. What sets this restaurant apart is the owner, Mora. She is an absolute sweetheart who works tirelessly to ensure her customers are satisfied. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is evident in every interaction. Mora goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests and makes sure that each customer feels valued and appreciated. Beyond the amazing food and outstanding service, the restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting. The decor creates a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience. It's a place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and feel like you're part of a welcoming community. If you haven't visited this Southeast Asian restaurant l, I highly recommend giving them a try. Their nam khao alone is worth the visit, but the overall experience of dining there is truly exceptional. Mora and her team work hard to ensure that every customer leaves satisfied and with a smile. Don't miss out on this hidden gem - you won't be disappointed!

I recently found this cute little hole-in-the-wall near old Elk Grove. I've been looking for a place in Elk Grove that makes good Southeast Asian food and this place really delivers! I usually get the Nam Khao, which is spicy, crispy fried rice. It is so aromatic and flavorful, the pieces of sausage scattered throughout provide little pockets of flavor. It also comes with mint and slices of cucumbers which are cooling, especially if you like it spicy like me. Highly recommend if you are in the area and craving Southeast Asian food.
